I like scars

Thinking about Joaquin and the lip scar... do I have a scar fetish? Joaquin's enthralls me, hubs has a great one, about 6 inches long down his forearm (cocked-up birthmark removal as a baby), and I think Orly's 'I'm just going for a quick walk out of this 2nd storey window' spine scar is amazing. And I messed Eric's shoulder up pretty badly right at the start of my fic.
I don't know what it is... They're kind of uglypretty, and a different kind of body marking to tattoos, since they can be so random, and a reminder of the be-scarred one's vulnerability, I suppose.
Hmmm... I've never really thought about it before. Maybe I have a dark side, which is quite exciting.
