Not Graham Linehan's finest, alas, a bit sketchy and the characters aren't as good as Father Ted/Black Books, but Mos is genius. I really want to use the line 'The spider is now upon my person', but since I avoid arachnids at all costs and if there ever were actually a spider upon my person the line I would actually use would be 'AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGHHHHHH!!!! Fuck! FUCK!!!! Get it off me! GET!!! IT!!!! OFF!!! ME!!!!!!' whislt writhing around as though on fire, this is unlikely.

Bollocks

Trains are shit. No trains from Canterbury East to London at all today, trains from Cant West to London very sporadic, coach full. Means that we wouldn't get to London til about half two, and since the others are going to B.Ball at about 5, it's pointless us going up. So. Another London trip missed, instead we are defrosting the fridge. How do I live with all this excitement, eh?

I do have to say, bearing in mind we live in a pretty big town only about 50 miles from what is supposed to be a major, 21st Century Capital City, it is completely fucking impossible to get there or back. It's ridiculous. You can't drive in because of congestion charges (which actually I like, you can now come home from London without the fine layer of ash and grime that used to deposit itself on you after a few hours... I don't call it Smokey for nowt!) and there's nowhere to park, the coaches are always full and the trains are always crap. You can forget about doing anything in the evening, you have to leave at about 10 if you want to get home.

Ah, Britain. Where nobody can get anywhere. Love it.
