weird dreams

I have Vi-Vi's cold. Fighting it off at the moment, but still feeling a bit grotty. Writing is coming slowly at the moment, too. Boo.

Dark, dark dreams last night/this morning... the one that stuck in my mind was a very grim dream about nasty sexual things being done to Cpt Shiny (and I hadn't even read the latest intallation of "Watching & Waiting" yet!) while Diana was forced to watch... and this was all happening in the house I grew up in. Weird. Most of my dreams about that house these days are nightmares these days - always about ghosts, evil witches, fires, fury... mind you, there was so much bad feeling there by the time I left, is it any wonder? *Sigh*

Aaaahhh, just when I start get in a doldrums about my writing I channel my inner Riker and come up with this slice of fried gold:
‘Data with a girlfriend – it’s pretty much on the same level of adorability as a puppy peeking out of a man’s shoe… or maybe a duckling wearing a teeny-tiny hat.’

This is just after Riker, Deanna and Tasha have been speaking Pig Latin at each other. God bless you, William T - I can always rely on you to come out with completely ridiculous dialogue!
