r_scribblesYay! Just got back from the Community Carol Singing - what fun! In Rose Square, for those of you who know Canters (outside BHS). ArchBishy was there, atop a double decker bus, gave a great speech - got us all to first whisper, then scream 'Happy Christmas'. Being in the middle of about 1,000 people all whispering is kinda weird. It was really great, very very Christmassy, lots of strangers chatting and laughing with each other. Now that's what Chrimbo's all about! We were next to a little family of 3 generations - an enthusiastic Nan, a young Mum & Dad & their tot (on Daddy's shoulders).
I do like the ArchBish, too. I like his politics, and he's a very funny guy.
Feeling lovely and Christmassy now. Got Hubs' prezzies all wrapped, kitchen full of food & booze. Just off to cook tea and heat up some Mulled Cider. :D
