Oooh, look at the lovely view...
Hmm.
Watched Learners tonight. It was... Nice. Very Sunday evening BBC1.
Problem is, I don't really like Nice Sunday Evening BBC1. Some beautifully observed characters, and Jess' usual idiosyncratic flair for dialogue, but... feh. No bite. No pepper. Know what I mean? Really didn't like the ending - very formulaic and Curtissy for such a fresh, induvidual writer. Jess and Rose's-Dad-Off-Who were charming, The Ten fell flat in my opinion. Wossname playing Fiona was lovely. Liked the Broken Down Actor and Ukrainian Cleaner. The bastard cheating policeman managed to have a familiar voice without a familiar face. May be off The Radio. Nice to see Simon Day being shit as usual.
Also, I have new slippers. My clothes keep dying on me at the moment and I have to weigh up whether I can last til Chrimble without replacing them. The other day it was my beloved black cords, which I can manage without for a few more weeks, today it was my moo cow slippers. Can't be coping without slippers. Bought a new pair of fluffy white ballerina pumps for a fiver from Poo Look. Very comfy they are too. Hubs says they look like hospital slippers. Arsehole.
