*sigh*. Yes. I reckoned The Bloom was OK. Not amazing, he's never amazing, luvvim - just OK. Unfortunately his first bits were the best, setting my hopes up, and then he went all... all Bloom. The bitchy bits about Johnny Depp and the needless swearing were funny, though. Keith Chegwin's blatant non-comprehension of acting and seething bigotry was much funnier.
And 'When The Whistle Blows' was all horribly familiar. 'I don't want to be famous for screaming catchphrases in a stupid wig and glasses' - now who on Earth could that be a reference to...?
Mitchell and Webb I warmed to, eventually. I especially liked the tramps and the non-medical medical drama. But what was up with their audience? Why did they laugh when one of them was just walking? Were they party to some incredibly funny joke that was happening out of shot? What was going on?
Thankyou for my review, Charlie, and thanks to all of you for making the last post possibly the longest, most random and rambley post on my LJ so far!
