I'm a martyr to my sinuses...
Sep. 2nd, 2005 11:05 pmYes, folks, the headache wasn't weather related after all. After 48 hours of it I bit the bullet and went to the doctors, and I have (drumroll, please) A sinus infection! Hooray!
So a week long course of antibiotics which make me really dopey and mean I can't drink it is then!
Spent a perfectly lovely sunny Friday evening when I should have been supping a 'hooray it's the weekend' pint of cold cider in the White Hart's beer garden with Hubbily-hoo lying in bed instead.
Hubby is being all lovely and protective. He always looks after me a treat when I'm poorly. At least there was reasonably good stuff on TV tonight (am finally coming around to the charms of Scrubs and Will & Grace). Also, we have managed to get through two series of Reggie Perrin on DVD in about a week. Super!
Am amazed at the success of Chance Encounter (my Tomb Raider/POP adult fanfic story). Only two chapters in which there's absolutely no sex (yet - they're building up to it slowly!) and only been up for a few days, and it's already overtaken I Wish I May... in hits and reviews. And IWIM is bloody filthy! And what did the one review for that say...? Not enough Boy on Boy. But everyone seems to love the harmless flirting between two computer characters. Honestly - some people!
Think I had D&D in my dream last night, too. Diana had died/gone missing. Eric was upset. There was a big stick that was quite important and a lot of ice. It might have been Antarctica. A lot of my dreams end up there.
More Fantasy Harem answers from the ladies - Bloom seems to be a pretty regular choice for Keeper of the Baths. So it's not just me after all!
