When Quantum Leap Goes Good
May. 7th, 2006 06:12 pmOoooh, I just watched the Quantum Leap season 3 finale 'Shock Theatre' (or 'Theater' as these Crazy Yanks will have it) for the first time in years.
My God.
When QL is bad it's pretty bloody bad, when when it's good, it's just jaw-dropping. This was an incredible episode - very 12 Monkeys, before 12 Monkeys was made (not so much 'La Jetee', though). Brilliant headfuck storyline, well scripted and two astonishing performances from the two leads. Only thing that ruined it really was the silly Alphabet Rap, but I suppose that's just Al being Al.
And next disk we get the Switched Leap one. Yay!
Have attempted tapping away a little at Ch10 again today. I've still got another quarter to do, but I'm finally reaching a denuemont of sorts. Once I get to that bit I should be better at improving my speed on this monster!
