Just been reminded of this little sketch Ian & Greaves did for my 'Summer of 99' Mix CD:

Jonty: Excuse me sir, but why are you wearing a pie on top of your head?
Ian: I always wear a pie on me head on Tuesdays.
Jonty: But sir - today is Thursday.
Ian: Oh God! I must look like a complete twat!

(made even funnier by the mis-timed attempt to beep out the word 'twat'!)

Then I started thinking about the pre-amble to the 'Fuck' monologue:

Ian: We...
Jonty: That is, The Management...
Ian: ...the Management... would like to demand...
Jonty: That is, *apologise*...
Ian: For the language in this next track.
Jonty: We request that, due to its sensitive nature, if you should listen to it, you should do so in the company of a... er...
Ian: ...Man.
Jonty: Yes. Er. Man. Enjoy.

Can you believe that was over 7 years ago now? Mad!
