Ah, after a celebrationary pizza at Zizzi we went back to watch The Hudsucker Proxy. *What* a great film! Sort of like a weird and wonderful retelling of 'It's A Wonderful Life', only sprinkled with a Gilliamesque bitterness, plus you don't want the lead character to go on a killing spree at the end. I really love the fast-talking Journo's, and Paul Newman kicks ass as always.

The tree in Boss' garden had fallen over when I got in this morning. It's all been chopped up and taken away now. Meh!

Oh, and my Anniversary prezzie from wonderful Hubs was none other than tickets to see little Timbo B-T and the wonderous Graybags Garden in The Goodies Still Rule OK at Brighton! Yaaayyyyy for Garden flavoured prezzies!

Arg! I can't write! Poked at my challenge for a bit, but I'm finding my scribbledge on this matter really rather poor. I really need to re-watch Garden of Zinn before I go any further. Then stared glumly at the next installment of Remain The Same for a bit. At least with that I do know where it's going (sort-of... the fireworks at the proms gave me some nice ideas for a New Year set chapter after this pre-Christmas one), it's just a case of finishing the chapter I'm on properly. Probably only needs a good solid day to get it done but my brain! My tiny brain is melting!

Bought Goldfinger & Kung Fu from 1977 by Ash off iTunes tonight and got all nostalgic for the mid to late 90s.

Was pleasantly surprised that Hamish & Dougal from the ISIHAC 'sound charade' games now have their own 15 minute show on R4, so I'm having a right old glut of Garden at the moment! It's called 'You'll have had your tea', and is quite good, despite being co-written by Barry Cryer, who's bloody awful. And the music's done by Dr Garden's son - he wot plays keyboard in Scizzor Sisters.
