You know, I was really glad when that skip outside our house finally went. However, this weekend I have realised that this means every passing chav now deposits their McDonalds milkshake cups into our wheelie bin. Whenever I sit in the front room I can hear every other group of people passing lifting up the lid and throwing something inside. I wouldn't mind so much, but the binmen are famous for being jobsworths and won't even pick up rubbish that's been bagged sometimes if there's something vaguely wrong with the way it's been left for them and so would be unlikely to dispose of other peoples' crap that they've just thrown into our bin. We'll just have to keep it out the back - v annoying since it means dragging it through the house on bin day. *sigh* The idleness of others. It'll destroy us all.

More worrying is that I really need to fight back the urge to run out the front, grab the first person I see walking away and challenge them to fisticuffs. Pregnancy has made me much angrier, which is weird because I'm at a time of life when I really need to avoid any kind of violence. There was some bloody teenager smoking outside Tesco as I left it today, who flicked her cigarette butt right in front of me as I passed. I was annoyed enough as it was, but had it hit me I honestly think I'd have picked it up, still alight as it was, and flicked it into her lap. This is worrying since I can't fight and would blatantly get beaten up.

Another thing that's annoyed me today is that Hubs' paltry 2 week paternity leave will be paid at only £109 a week! If he'd kept schtum about his approaching fatherhood and then claimed to have stress the day I went into labour he could get a couple of months on full pay. Stupid system.
