Not sleeping well again. Couldn't get my brain to switch off last night and even when I did nod off I must have woken up at least four times to turn over - so I reckon I've had about half a night's sleep. Plus I'm still feeling pretty bunged up. *sigh*

Mummy was down this weekend. We went shopping for Chrimbo pressies for the Catholic Mafia, Mum bought us her Baby Presents (security blanket, cute red babygro, shawl crocheted for my Baptism by Nana and a chest of drawers) Mum then cooked Christmas dinner (Yum!) and we watched The History Boys, what we have been sent by Bafta, amongst many other things... we have a fantastic Bafta haul already, including Cars which we watched last night and PotCII which I might re-watch tonight. Found History Boys enjoyable, although not as much so as many of Bennett's other stuff - Talking Heads, Kafka's Dick, The Madness of King George et al. You could really tell that it had been adapted from a stage play, which put me off a little. I felt as though I was watching it in the wrong medium. Hubs claims that Daikin doesn't look like a cross between him and Peter Serafinowicz, which is bollocks because
a, Daikin really does look like Hubs
b, I meant it as a compliment! He was lovely!

Have also started the long sort-out of all the Baby Things which have been sitting in the bags/boxes we got them in in our bedroom. The hand-me-down older baby clothes are now in the chest of drawers, and I washed all of the Newborn stuff last night - clothes, sheets, blankets, nappies etc etc. The house is now strewn with little white, cream and yellow things drying, and filled with the smell of Ariel Non-Bio. Still have much to sort. Still need to pack my bag too, as it's not even started yet and I'm 1/2 way through week 36. Naughty Scribbles!

Because they're just plain fucking evil and eat babies on toast for breakfast: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/6167351.stm

Oh, poor Pinochet, eh? It's so sad. Taken from us at the tender age of 91 and now he's dead, sob sob gulp gasp and will never ever face justice for all those human rights atrocities. Boo Fucking Hoo. My heart just fucking BLEEDS.

And as an Atheist I can't even trust that he'll find justice in the afterlife. Hopefully they'll bury all his Tory chums in the grave next to his when Satan finally wants them back so that I won't have to travel too far when I finally get to dance like a happy little pixie on their graves.

(nb please do not confuse this with PregnaRage - I usually froth at the mouth when it comes to That Woman.)

EDIT: Having read the article in full I have come to the conclusion that the current government are no better since they're the bastards who realeased him. Now I'm mad at everyone.
