The saga with the car tax continues. The DVLA are shit beyond all reason. Tax runs out tomorrow, can't get the Vehicle Identity Check which we need before we can tax the car til next Tues. Every phone call results in a different message. People swearing blind that such and such a document was sent to us, the next person saying it wasn't but a different document definately was, etc etc. Latest advice is that we can keep t off road up til the 14th. Luckily we have friends who'll let us use their off road parking, since the woman's only advice when I told her my parking was on-road was 'hope it doesn't get reported.' Yeah, thanks a fucking bunch.
