Oh, going to Bluewater with just a wee babbie for company's quite an experience! Struggling in the car park to fold a buggy so it'll fit in the boot and changing a poopy nappy in the John Lewis Disabled Toilet... Hmm! It was worth it though - nice to get out of Canters for a change.
I bought: Claire & Adam's wedding present
Bedlinen for Twinkle's cotbed (2 fitted sheets, 2 flat sheets, one pink blanket, one purple blanket)
A pack of vests, a pair of jeans and a comedy TShirt for the babe
A comedy TShirt pour moi
A new iPod charger, and the nice beardy GadgetGeek only giggled at me a *little* when I told him how my last one got deaded.
A new Lego keyring for the car keys because Spiderman has had all his markings rubbed off plus I broke his leg by slamming it in the boot door. The shame! Our new Car Key Protector is Lego Batman. Grrr!
We watched Young Sherlock Holmes tonight! Eeeee! What a brilliant film! I noticed that Potter seems to owe an awful lot to Young Sherlock Holmes in terms of both plot and style. And Hubs corectly spotted Nadim 'Father of Julia' Sawalawalawalahaha playing a Swarthy Foreign Tavern Keeper. I think you'd better drink your drink and be on your way, Sir. Ain't no Caaaaarrstle round these parts...
Plus last night we watched V For Vienetta, and rather liked it. I was expecting it to be cack, but I found it rather cool. There is nothing quite as upsetting as seeing Stephen Fry getting beaten up. We have decreed that he is The Nation's Gay Uncle. And it shall be so.
And we're going to Margit tomorrow (weather permitting) - Yay!
