My Reggae Reggae Sauce...
Jun. 24th, 2007 05:10 pmThe cupcakes went down well. As did the burgers and the Reggae Reggae Sauce (so nice they had to name it twice). The salads, not so much. Still, to quote The Simsons, 'You don't make friends with salad'. It decided to thunderstorm at about 3pm but apart from that it was good BBQ weather. The party carried on until about 10 - much later than I'd anticipated - with about 8 of us re-firing up the barbie and eating strawberries in the garden as the sun set. Nice.
Ian must be the only adult male in the world to need escorting to a Chinese that he's been to several times before, 10 minutes down the road, in broad daylight, to pick up a meal especially for him because he didn't want what we were having, though.
Still at least he made up for it by bringing a nice present and helping set stuff up for the party.

(watch him try to justify it now by saying he "drove a long way to get here"!)
In all seriousness, it was really lovely to see everyone again, and I think we saw Hubs into his 4th decade with style.
We have Who downloaded and Disk 2 of LoM through from LoveFilm (yes, that's right, we've only just got round to watching it)... I predict a SimmFest thenicht!
