Stuff & Nonsense

Right. I have character types thanks to Hairy Dan's Wikipedia Link and weapons thanks to My and Hubs' imagination. Not that this makes any sense to you yet, but:

Mavis - Crusader - Gauntlets
Trevor - Seer - Staff (a knobbly Wizard's Staff, not a Bo Staff)
Edie - Bard - Quill

I even drawed a pitshur of them with their Token Mythical Mascot Clive, as an extra goodie. So yes, that's all good. Just need to write the damn thing now.

I heart Freeview! I get to watch repeats of Friends instead of the ubiquitous Big Brother, and ITV4 has the original Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased)! Ah, gone are the days when TV Shows could have such an 'interesting looking' (or, as Hubs put it, 'Fugly') lead as Mike Pratt. Ah, just you wait til The Specials! There'll be a whole bevvy of Kinda Funny Looking leads in that one!

And is it just the bit I saw, or did Wanking The Dead turn into Life On Mars tonight?

Peter Brown called to say 'You can make it OK, you can get married in Gibraltar near Spain'.

Hubby's off work for two and a half weeks! Eee! And we're going to Jools & Sylv's wedding tomorrow! And it's in Gibraltar! Alas, we've decided Violet's too little to go (where would you change a baby on an aeroplane, for starters?) so she's staying home and my mum and sis are coming to babysit. We're flying out tomorrow, the wedding's Friday and we're coming back Saturday... only one full day without seeing her, but still I'm going to miss that little munchkin like crazy.

Still, we're going to get to be us, with our friends, instead of Mum & Dad, and can eat, drink and make merry without worrying about being sober/awake enough to look after the baby for two nights.
