Why am I turning into a penguin, and why is my friend here rapidly running out of limbs?

I'm getting well soppy in my old age. Although I didn't put two and two together that it was an April 1st Thing, I obviously knew that the Flying Penguins (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/epeng001.shtml?src=ip_potpw) was make-believe. I mean, it's not like anybody actually believes the BBC got a dozen hippos to swim in a perfect circle for the ident, do they? (Or do they...?)

But it's such a beautiful minute of film, it actually made me well up a bit. Go see. Go see the penguins soaring into the air and making duck-like, clumsy landings in the rainforest, and see if you don't get a little lump in your throat too.
