r_scribbles: (TNG Snoo-Snoo)
well, things did get better after my last post... eventually. It was generally a very bad day that turned into a horrible evening, though. I felt like I did back in the bad old days when I had PND. Rotten. Feeling better today though, had a nice chat with one of the S&S Mums at Playgym, found out about a baby dance class starting soon that I'm going to try and Vi is having a normal nap at a normal time (and I'm having a cuppa!) Plus, it's Friday. Glass of vino thenicht, Peep Show if I'm still awake, weekend with no plans. Bon.

Lucy, I got the rose essence. Thankyou! I might bake tomorree. I owe you a cup of tea/Mr Whippy come the picnic of geekery.

Shez, I can't stop looking at that picture! (with the blue jumper, spread out like some kind of Scottish, blue-clad, sexy Jesus) Most distracting.

The starry-eyed romantic within me has made me join elljay's Tasha/Data Ship community, even though the black hearted cynic within me is aware that it's a ship that started sinking the second it left the dock and even before Tasha's untimely end they were already having to frantically bail the bitter salt water of inevitability out of it with their hats. And they don't even have hats! Sometimes Hideously Doomed is a good thing. Perhaps, had she lived, they might have both developed emotionally enough to be able to hold down some kind of happy relationship and find a healthier relationship with sex than either ever showed the way things did turn out. Maybe. Although in my head, had she survived, their relationship would still have been a bit dysfunctional. I can't see them skipping gleefully through a meadow at any point. I'll have to get back to watching S1 of TNG at some point, although it still grates on me, and we still have S5 of QL to plough through.

This is ace. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Zvul3DC4l4E
