Nudie tots and more interview meme
Jun. 27th, 2008 11:37 amVi's been waking up pretty early lately... either she's uncomfortable in bed (she's got a rash at the mo) or it's the light mornings. Anyway, she was up just before Hubs' alarm clock went off this morning, so he took her downstairs for her pre-brekkie drink of milk and a play while he was breakfasting and then put her in the playpen while he had a shower so I could catch up on some Z's. I then get woken up by him laughing 'guess how I found this little girl just now...?' and he comes into the bedroom with a completely naked baby. She has learned to remove not only her pyjamas, but her nappy as well. Luckily, she didn't poo, but we did have rather a lot of wee to clean up first thing! Slightly annoying, but more than made up for by The Cute.

1.Do you have a special talent that not many people know about?
I'm a very good singer - at least, I used to be. Haven't had any practice in years. I tend to talk about the things I can do, though, so most people do know about them.
2.Have you ever seen Avenue Q?
No. Hardly ever go to the West End, and that's not likely to change any time soon!
3.What made you choose the name Violet for your daughter?
We both wanted a name that was different-without-being-made-up, and I do love the current trend for flower names, although I didn't want one of the more popular ones like Rose or Lily. I like anything blue or purple besides, and love Parma Violets. When I was giving birth we couldn't quite make up our minds between Violet and Hazel, but when we saw her, she was so small and delicate that Violet was just right for her. Funnily, Back in the early days of my pregnancy I'd been advocating Viola as a name, since she was due on Twelfth Night, but Hubs didn't like it.
4.Do you have a favourite type of flower?
I love roses, especially white and yellow ones, and irises.
5.What is your favourite season?
Autumn!
