r_scribbles: (Soul Calibur Taki)
Had an epic Soul Calibur dream last night - it was cool! I was Taki (double-cool!) only it was modern day and I had to kill a Big Boss Baddie. He was hiding out in this massive building that was like a whole city and I had to disguise myself... only, while I was infiltrating the place by disguise the Baddie snuck up behind me, thinking I was some minion or other and groped me... and I really liked it. Whoda thunk a squeeze of the botty could break through a hardass Ninja Demon Slayer's steely defenses? Suddenly I was in a dilemma - I was totally hot for this baddie, but I still had to kill him or be killed... I remember sneaking up to the place where we were destined to battle, wondering if there was any way I could get my jollies before I killed him. Also, I had a baby that I needed to keep safe. Crazy stuff.

Remember months and months ago when i posted about a horrible woman at playgym who had pulled Violet off a toy so that her kid could play with it and was therefore my nemesis? She talked to me today after her kid came up and cuddled Vi, and was really friendly. Weird. Maybe she was just having a bad day back then. Maybe I should make fewer mums my Nemesies, because I'm notching up an awful lot of them - it's just that there really seem to be some horrible bitches of mums with rotten kids in my various groups. Unfortunately, it's them who seem to stick around and get involved in everything going, while the mums who I really get on with, who have sweet kiddies that play nicely with Vi tend to either go back to work or move away, like the lovely lady with the cutie twin girls, who we had a smashing playdate with yesterday... as she was in the process of moving to bloody Southampton. Arse.

We have loads of icecream left over from yesterday's celebrations. Nyom nyom.

Geoffery "him off KYTV" Perkins has died in a road accident.

Bum.

Big Bums, as he was the producer of many of my favourite comedy shows, including H2G2, ISIHAC (he was the creator of Mornington Crescent, apparently) and Father Ted.

Graham Linehan (who should be working, but I'll excuse him this once) has written a short but very personal and touching obituary here on his blog.
