Memo to self: When trying to write a chapter of fanfic based around an episode you haven't watched in about a decade, it might be good to rewatch said episode BEFORE you write seven pages of fic, in case you misremembered the area of expertise a pivotal character works in. I had seven pages of Jenna being an Engineering bod and Tasha not really knowing who she was and being unfairly offhand about her in the abstract. Now I have to deal with a situation where Tasha not only knows Jenna, she's her bloody Boss. Bother. Damn all those mustard uniforms straight to Hell.

Cold based aggression is continuing, and that episode didn't help. 'Data, I heart you! Change for me! Wait... now you're changing too much. Wait... now you're changing too little. Oh wait! You're an android - I just remembered that. So yeah. You're chucked. Ta-ta.' This episode was before Spot's mysterious sex change, too. I bet the original Spot died and nobody had the heart to tell Data, so they just got him a new cat that looked a bit like the old one.
