30 Days Lost Meme - Day 20

r_scribblesDay 20 is 'your favourite Lost Theory' - now, being in Blighty and without Sky, and therefore constantly behind on Lost, I generally avoided online talk about Lost while it was on in order to stay spoiler-free, and I don't really talk with anybody IRL about it, so I don't know about other peoples theories. I think there was a cracky one doing the rounds that Jacob was Vincent though, which I love. I had some funky theories of my own.
After the Pilot I'd decided that the island floats around the seven seas at will, hence the polar bears (maybe a bit too much Noah's Island as a child...?)
I still really wish that this was the case. I really hoped after watching 'The Shape of things to come' that Ben in a Parka signified he'd moved the island to the Antarctic, but alas, it wasn't to be.
I also had a crazy theory after seeing 'Jacob's' silhouette in the cabin and deciding that the profile looked like Locke, but the misplaced brown eye looked like Desmond's that Jacob was actually a composite of elements of Locke, Des and Eko all thrown back in time and merged into one being by the hatch implosion. Turns out it was just Smokey pretending to be Christian in a fake beard. Which isn't any less crazy, if you ask me.
Also, I was positive that blowing up the bomb would have created a Paradox - after all, if they never went to the island, they'd never be there to blow up the bomb. Maybe it did, which was why they were all thrown back into 2007 as if nothing had happened. I dunno.
