r_scribblesAaaahhh, I have had a Lazy Weekend for once! Sis In Law & New Bro In Law were down on Friday Night so we went out for a Chinese, but they made tracks by early Sat Afternoon so we've had the rest of the w/end to ourselves. Not actually Laziness entirely - we've got a bunch of stuff done in fact.
I've been freezing the last couple of days and my non-maternity jumpers are causing unslightly belly-showage so I went to H&M yesterday and got some nice new maternity woollies. Cozy!
We tried to watch A Knight's Tale last night (mainly because I noticed from the trailer that Wash was in it) but had to give up as it was rubbish and made absolutely no sense. Why did all the women look exactly the same? Why did Heath Ledger fancy the American posh woman when she was so crap and the Scottish woman was so much hotter? What was with all the 'handbags at dawn' bitching? And, as fantastic as Alan Tudyck is, why cast him in a film where he'll have to pull off a convincing English accent? Because, bless him, we couldn't even understand a word he was saying. He has since been rechristened Dick Van Dyke.
We downloaded S1 of the Goodies yesterday! It's a bit of a mixed bag, actually, huge chunks of it are just bizzaire - don't know whether they were still finding their feet. There was a very funny episode about sleepwalking, though. And Bill Oddie's bare bum! Nobody wants to see that, ever!
I am currently making a Fish Pie. Hopefully it'll turn out OK - I'm being experimental, as usual. EDIT: The pie was pretty cool, but I think it needed more capers.
