r_scribblesHusband is poorly today. Aaaahhh.
Watched Lost though... So Charlie's not dead... yet. He still hasn't flipped the switch though, so he may still get deaded. Maybe right at the end of the show, who knows. Maybe he'll be separated from the other Losties for good now, since he really has pretty much said Goodbye to them. i was welling up. Again! What is wrong with me? I'm such a soppy bugger. His descent into The Looking Glass reminded me of Tomb Raider, which amused me. Also... we've recently had references to both Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland - stories of everyday children in fantasy worlds. Who knows what that means. Perhaps the Looking Glass is the key to an even more removed world.
And Yay! Bernard and Rose! And Bernard's going to do something useful! I love those guys, they have a touch of the Zoe & Wash about them - not just because of the whole White Husband/Black Wife thing, but the way they talk to each other, and the depth of their love and faith for each other despite their differences. Jack's still a tit, though. Sayeed should have been the leader, really. He's more interesting and much better looking. Scribbles has spake! Actually, wouldn't it be fab if Jack cops it next episode and Sayeed does become the leader in later series? That would shake stuff up a little, and you would have an ensemble drama with an Arab lead played by an Asian actor. Which I think would be a first.
