No Ian today after all. The Motorways are still cocked, what with the snow. Hopefully we'll see him tomorrow.
I need to buy tights. I've bought all these pretty skirts and I've hardly got any tights that aren't full of holes.
Kong was great, BTW. I do love PJ's stuff. The love interest story was much more interesting than the original, and the stuff with the dinosaurs was just brilliant. It was a nice touch that Anne Darrow was a struggling Vaudeville star, making her a very physically adept person, so she didn't just stand around screaming. And they got some real soul into Kong. My nly complaintg would be that he took way too long to die. Another over-long ending from Mr Jackson - oh well. He's so great at making entertaining films in a stunning, unconventional manner, I'll forgive him the long endings.
I really recommend his Pre-Lordy film The Frighteners, as well. It's probably his most conventional film, and it's great fun.
