I'm going to spam you all with some more fantastic youtube clips from my childhood.
First off: Knightmare.
'Where am I?'
'You're in a room'
Very D&D, only with ropey 80's computer effects and a kid with his eyes obscured by an oversized helmet being repeatedly told by 3 of his mates to 'Sidestep'. This had me on the edge of my seat constantly - it was possibly the toughest game ever - to win it you had to survive for about 5 episodes in a row without the series ending for the Christmas holidays. I think only about three teams ever made it. Anyway, here's the fantastic opening titles:

And here's one of the many, many deaths... 'YOUR OTHER LEFT!'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5xKZtoVZ0c&mode=related&search= Brilliant Welsh accents, too!
Next up.... Don'tcha open that TRAPDOOOOOOORRRRR!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YYhkyZmfgM&NR I remember this on Ghost train (OOOOoooo-wahhhhh!) and I really loved it.
FUNHOUSE!!! It's a real wacky show where anything goes, don'tcha know. the sound's pretty shit on this, but worth it all for the be-mulletted, stonewash drainpipe jeans & salmon pink sweater sporting wonder that is Pat Sharp.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hxuezdjj7cE&mode=related&search=Jamie & His Magic Torch... Intro sequence goes from creepy-creepy to insane psychadelia at, quite literally, the flick of a switch!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-B_FQKHQDYkGOING LIVE! Oh, feel the 80s-ness of it all! My favourite bit is where Phillip Schofield realises he doesn't have time to eat his sarnie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqz6TmiqX0Mand finally... Eric *is* Bananaman, featuring the beatuful plummy tones of my Doctor Garden.
