Whee! A little late for me since come this summer I can't percieve that I'll be going to pubs or restaurants very often, but still - Yay! Smoke as much as you like, my friends, smoke yourself to death if you please but don't get that filthy fag ash all over everybody else, ta. My enjoyment of a dinner out has been ruined too many times by some twatbadger who decides to light up a ciger (ewwwww!!!) with his coffee, with no care that the rest of the people in the restaurant he's stinking out are still eating, too many times have I woken up from a night out with my hair, coat, clothes, sheets and pillows all still reeking of other peoples' smoke. And people don't give a toss if you're preggo either - admittedly it's mostly outdoors in which smoking still won't be banned but I've had smoke blown in my face several times while visibly Bumped Up.
Yes, it's a free country, and yes you do have rights (why is everybody these days so obsessed with their Rights, while never giving a second thought to their Responsibilities?) but if somebody just pulled down their pants and started pissing in the middle of a pub you'd be disgusted, right? Because it stinks and it's unsanitary and there's no need to do it in front of everybody else, right?
Well, then!
Got a lovely review for Out In The Cold today. It's given me the Bug to get back to my Fics. OITC ch2 is 1/2 done but needs work and I have actually done a small amount of Part 11 of The New Adventures. Think I shall work on both over the weekend.
