Hmm. The council are claiming that the binmen here aren't on strike today.
However, they usually come round here first thing in the am, and it is now midday and they still haven't been. If they don't arrive I'm going to kick off - it's the sort of thing I can see Jobsworths not rectifying til the next bin day and I don't want stinky rubbish on the pavement (just out in plastic bags in front of all the student houses) for another bloody fortnight!
Usually, I don't have any issues with the fortnightly collections, but if one's missed or falls when we're away it does become a big problem. Pooey nappies are not nice when fresh, let alone a month old.
