r_scribblesHeroes is starting to really impress me in the run up to the end of the series, but it is also a great source of lullity for me and Hubs...
Namely - all bits with Dr Dullinder and Sylar before the Mahogany Doctor worked out that the reason people he went to kept dying was because he was bringing the killer right to them. Cue me and Hubs shouting 'NUUUUUUUUHHHHHH!!!' at the telly and doing that very non-PC playground "Flid" action with our hands.
New changy-woo girl. Hubs and I have started crying out the names of X-Men that each character is a rip-off of, once their X-Trait is revealed, so our house reverberated with a hearty cry of "Mystique!" tonight.
CLAIRE: Peter ParkerPetrelli's the only person I trust. Why can't I stay with him?
ME: Because he'll try to shag you and he's your Uncle.
Dr Dullinder's Angry Eye Twitch. Fucking hi-larious!
Still with Dr Mahogany, Eeee-hee-hee, Sylar stabbed him to the ceiling, alive! That is so the sort of thing I'd do to one of my characters!
The final shot. NOT THE FRINGE!!!!! IT IS THE SOURCE OF ALL HIS POWERS!
It's jolly good fun, though. I'm really starting to like Glasses Man, I think he's really interesting. And Hiro has his powers back, which is nice (and Nathan Parkerpetrelli got to be his Straight Man again, which is the only time I ever find that guy remotely likeable) Simone is dead (Hooray!) and it's all nicely ticking towards the end. Not enough Fat Matt: Crap Cop in this episode though. Boo.
