Sela makes my brain hurt.
Nov. 2nd, 2008 08:39 pmI need help, my lovely TNG fan F-Listers. I've now got up to the point in the timeline of the show where Sela turns up. But obviously, 'Yesterday's Enterprise' never happened in my AU since Tasha wasn't supposed to be dead, so Sela shouldn't by rights exist here.
However, I can't help but feel that there'd be something lacking in my story if she wasn't there. Indeed, so many of the major stories of S5, including one of Data's biggest S5 adventures, involve Sela, I'm not quite sure how I'd tackle S5 without her.
However, however, she'd be tricky to incorporate with Rollercoaster's story arc. Not only in terms of causality, in terms of drama as well. Would I just be retreading the ground I went over with Ishara? I think it would seriously freak Tasha out to see Sela. There'd be a whole heap of angsting, but has Tasha maybe Angsted enough for a while.
Thoughts, people...?
