Oh God, my cake kicks arse! It's basically the consistency of Fudge Brownie but with fruit instead of chocolate. Apart from the occasional currant, you can't even tell what's cake and what's fruit any more.Eaten two fat slices of it this evening. Nummy!

And we've now watched all of BSG S4 (or the first half of S4... I'm not sure what they're calling these two half-series...)
YOU BLEW IT UP! DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!!!!!

Yeah, I was rather disappointed that there wasn't a charred Statue of Liberty's arm poking out of the ground in the last shot, since that was the twist they were going for... no recognisable Earth monument at all, in fact, but the charred remains of some temple that doesn't exist for us. So whether this is a, not the same planet that we call Earth; b, an alternate universe; c, in our distant future or d, in our distant past and the colonists and Cylons become 'us' is all open. Hmmm.

I still think it would have been more interesting for them to have found us, or a more technologically advanced us, and for us to refuse to let them live here, leading to a war between us and them. Ho well.

The music in this whole series has been really beautiful, but I thought the music in 'Revelations' was particularly lovely.
