And, indeed, Fiddle-Dee-Dee.
So, I'm slowly beginning to make peace with the concept of being stuck in that cocking job for a while longer AND having to go back to pissing applications. This was not helped by A Shite Day In The Office today, although there are plans afoot for merriment with my favourite Fun Lovin Lezzer on Friday, as well as a group trip down to see the old GBF in November, both of which I am looking forward to. It's been too long since I've seen my lovely Gays.
Forgot to say yesterday when I was bluer than a forget-me-not that had been left in the freezer about my Comedy Emotional Moment - the other guys on the team hoped to cheer me up by hastily passing around a Scooby Doo card for everyone to write commisoratory messages in. I took one look at the card (Scoobs hoding a little flower) and burst into tears. I had been very highly strung for days and them being all cute just tipped me over the edge. That's the only time I've cried over this damn job.
Husband also cheered me by presenting me with a picture of himself in a Man At C&A pose (he's being doing Kickboxing and is looking very foxy at present...) although this doesn't make up for the fact that he managed to time it so that he was oput when Mumsie rang so muggins had to tell her about the Job Failure.
Finished The Lost last night, too. It's a bit of a rubbish ending, and FF.net are starting to utterly piss me off. It's impossible to create any kind of paragraph break - off thingy (stars etc) so everything melds into itself. Tried to put some notes at the end of it saying 'sorry, this ending's a bit lame', but Oh No.
Have had no word from webboy in bloody ages, too! Chappy 8 *is* all done and just itching to be slung on the webbysitey, honest!
Ah well.
Chappy 8 Quote Du Jour: 'Oh please. That guy's got a whole Penelope Pitstop thing goin' on.'
